Reinvention is an algorithm that takes in an NFT and "blockifies" it. Every time a new block is created, the pixel color from the original NFT is used to draw that block. Instead of drawing random recursive blocks inside like in the o.g. Blocks, they're drawn randomly outside of it. A simulated coin toss decides whether or not the outside block is white or if it takes on the associated color, and opacity is randomized to give it a little more texture.  The end result is something that looks like a mid-century modern mosaic with dream like bubbles around it. It's familiar yet abstract. Something new gets created by the algorithm, derivative for sure, but striking on its own.  These are some of my favorite NFTs, but reinvented. They're all 1 of 1s, and all created with code.
